Royal Copenhagen Porcelain
Founded in 1775, this brand is famous for its distinctive blue and white porcelain. Their flagship store is on Strøget in Copenhagen but you can also visit their historic factory in Frederiksberg that has a factory outlet shop.
The new kid on the block, Pandora has quickly established itself as one of the world’s biggest jewellery brands.
Bang and Olufsen
The world’s most stylish TV and electronic products have been produced since 1925 by this highly-esteemed design company. You can visit their flagship store on King’s Square (Kongens Nytorv), Copenhagen and the Bang and Olufsen Museum in its hometown of Struer.
Something for the children? Pick up the next big Lego craze in the country it was created. You can also visit the Lego factory at Billund.
Denmark is also a hotspot for designer lamps and lights. Best-known of all designers is Poul Henningsen, whose Artichoke and PH-5 lamps from the 1950s are still bestsellers today. You can buy these sought-after lamps across Denmark and see them in the Louis Poulsen Showroom on Gammel Strand, Copenhagen.

Denmark’s biggest shoe brand, Ecco, has been designing shoes since the 60s. The first Ecco shop opened in the early 1980s and you can now buy Ecco shoes in 90 countries around the world.
