Ørre Kirke (Ørre Church)

Ørre Church is located 8 kilometers north of Herning and it is one of the oldest stone churches in the area from around approx. 1250, roman style.

It is small and without a tower, and there is lead roof on the south side, but there are partially tiles on the north side. There is a memorial column over one of Denmark’s travelling temperance apostles who is buried at the cemetery.
